If your student will NOT be returning to Forsyth County Schools for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year starting August 5, 2025, please contact the Data Clerk at your child(ren)'s current school(s) to complete a Forsyth County Schools Withdrawal form and request records as soon as possible.
Please note it is best to contact your child(ren)'s school(s) by 05/22/2025 so that there are not processing delays due to summer breaks.
Please note this does not include students that are graduating from a Forsyth County High School during the 2024-2025 school year.
Please disregard this message if your child WILL attend Forsyth County Schools for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.

REMINDER: If you have not submitted a copy of your student’s Social Security card to your student's school or at the time of registration, your student will NOT be HOPE eligible.
Social Security Cards may be securely uploaded (click here for the FCS SIS Document Upload Site) or hand delivered to the Data Clerk at your student's current school for processing.
Please contact the Data Clerk at your student's current school of enrollment should you have any questions or need further assistance.
Please disregard this reminder if you have already submitted your student's Social Security card.

Change of Address Information
If you have a change of address for your student(s), please complete the Forsyth County Schools Change of Address form online (click here for the online form) and upload your proofs of residency along with your judge signed custody documents if applicable.
*Please note that by submitting a Change of Address form and proofs of residency that you are stating that you physically reside at the new address as of the date of submission. Changes of address cannot be post-dated and cannot be processed without valid/complete documentation.
If you are unable to complete the online form and upload your documents, please complete the paper form and deliver along with your proofs of residency to the Data Clerk at your child's school. Information and forms may also be found on our website.
Complete Changes of Address with valid proofs of residency and judge signed custody documents or an FCS Adult Affidavit (if applicable) received by noon on business days will be processed by the end of the same business day. You may update contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, emergency contacts, etc.) and view the current address on file for your household in Parent Portal. If you have any questions or need further assistance with Parent Portal, please contact your child's school (www.forsyth.K12.ga.us/schools) or the Student Information Systems Department (studentinformation@forsyth.K12.ga.us).

Parent Portal Activations - Forsyth County Schools sends an email to parents (to their email address on file) that do not have a Parent Portal account established every Monday. This email provides a web link to set up your account. The link is active for two days. Please check your Spam/Junk folder if you have not received an email.
If you have not received an email, you may contact your child’s school to ensure the correct information is on file. If the correct information is not on file, they will advise you on how to update your information so that you will receive an activation email.
Parent Portal Resets - If you are locked out or cannot remember your Parent Portal username and/or password, please go to your child’s school with valid picture identification and they will assist you with a temporary password. Upon login, you will be directed to create a permanent password.
If you are unable to go to your child’s school, you may come to the Student Information Systems Department located at 1140 Dahlonega Hwy Cumming, GA 30040 with valid photo id. Normal office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-12pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm (closed 12pm-1:30pm daily). Please email (studentinformation@forsyth.K12.ga.us) for holiday and summer hours.
